Delete your Sendable account
Applies to the Sendable Android app · last updated 10 September 2026You can delete your Sendable account and everything Sendable’s server holds about you at any time. There are two ways: in the app, which is immediate, or by email if you no longer have the app installed.
Option 1: in the app (immediate)
- Open Sendable and tap Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete all data.
- Tap Delete to confirm.
That signs you out, wipes the app’s data on the phone, and deletes your rows on Sendable’s server in the same request. Nothing is queued and there is no waiting period. It works the same whether or not you were signed in.
Option 2: by email (if you no longer have the app)
Send an email with the subject Delete my account from the Google or email address you used to sign in, so we can match it to the account:
We delete the account within 7 days and reply to confirm. If the request comes from a different address, we will ask you to confirm from the one on the account before deleting, so nobody can delete your account for you.
What is deleted
- Your account ID and the email address it signed in with.
- Your plan, where it came from, and when it expires.
- Your daily fix and character counters.
- The log of changes to your plan.
- Sendable's record of your Google Play purchases (purchase token, product, state, expiry, order ID, region).
- Everything the app stored on the phone: history, settings, and your sign-in session.
Sendable never stores the text you correct, so there is no text to delete. See the privacy policy for the full list of what the server keeps while you have an account.
What is kept, and for how long
Google Play's own purchase and subscription records
Google holds these under its own terms. Deleting your Sendable account does not cancel a subscription, so cancel it in Google Play first if you do not want it to renew.
Anonymous install counters
If you used Sendable without an account, the server only ever had a random install ID and daily counters. Delete all data removes them at once; if you simply uninstall, they expire on their own within 14 days.
Support emails
If you emailed us, that conversation stays in our mailbox so we can follow up. Ask in the same email and we will delete it too.
Before you delete
- Cancel any subscription first. Open Google Play, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, and cancel Sendable. Deleting the account does not stop Google Play from charging you.
- Deletion is permanent. A paid plan cannot be moved to a new account after the old one is gone. You can, however, sign in again with the same Google or email address and tap Restore purchases to attach an active Google Play subscription to the new account.
Questions about deletion, or anything else, go to the same address: hello@sendable.site.
